Rajapalayam Mills Ltd (a part of Ramco Group) is expanding its textile mill Rajapalayam near Madurai in Tamil Nadu. The company plans to invest ₹ 2,500 million to produce 10 million meters of grey fabrics per year. The state-of-the-art dyeing and weaving plant is likely to go operational by the year 2020. Currently, the company has over 1.35 lakh spindles.
