Arvind Ltd is setting up a mega apparel factory in Dahegam near Ahmedabad in Gujarat with an investment of Rs. 300 crore .The new plant will produce 24 million garments per annum. The company has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government of Gujarat to establish the factory. It plans to commence commercial production in the fourth quarter of 2018 . It may be noted, Arvind is India’s one of the largest manufacturer an exporters of textiles products with a turnover of nearly US$ 1.5 billion in FY 2016-17.
