Kanchan India Ltd (KIL), erstwhile Kanchan Wool-Tex Pvt Ltd was promoted in the year 1996 by Mr. Ladu Ram Banger, who is a first generation entrepreneur. The company is a Bhilwara, Rajasthan based integrated textile manufacturer engaged in manufacturing and selling of polyester viscose yarn, carpet grade woolen yarn, synthetic fabric, and denim fabric.
With effect from January 01, 2009, KIL merged other group companies, Kanchan Processors Private Limited, Kanchan Woollens Private Limited and Kanchan Spinners Private Limited with itself to emerge as an integrated textile entity. While Kanchan Processors Private Limited was involved in fabric processing, Kanchan Woollens Private Limited was into manufacturing of carpet grade woollen yarn and Kanchan Spinners Private Limited did not have any operations.
