Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL) is planning to set up an apparel production unit in Rayagada in Odisha. The new unit will have a production capacity of 3.6 million pieces per year. The project has received single window clearance from the state government of Odisha. As of January 2019, the project is in planning stage and is likely to be completed by end of 2021. The company sells in-house brands such as Louis Philippe, Allen Solly, Peter England and also operates the fashion retail chain Pantaloons. The project cost is estimated at ₹ 1140 million.
