Vinod Denim Ltd was incorporated in November 2009 by the Mittal family, manufactures denim fabric. Its unit has been operational since February 2011. They manufacture around 55 types of denim fabric. VDL is engaged in the processes like dying, finishing and marketing. It is a family run group based in Ahmedabad which is a major textile centre with a reputation for skill, quality, variety, expertise and acceptability. The other processes like manufacturing yarn, weaving, and any kind of printing on the fabric is done performed by the group companies viz., Vinod Spinners, Vinod Cotfab , United Polycab and Vinod Fabrics. VDL has recently under gone a capital expansion plan which helped the company to increase their production volumes. The total cost of the capex was ~Rs.15 cr, off which Rs.11 cr was funded by way of term loan and the balance by way of unsecured loans from directors.
