JBF Industries Ltd plans expansion of man-made fibre unit at Saily in Silvassa Union Territory. Land required for the project is around 101200 sq.meters. The project involves setting up of partially oriented yarn (POY) unit (250000 mtpa), fully drawn unit (150000 mtpa), polyester textured yarn / flat yarn (200000 mtpa), polyester twisted yarn (2500 mtpa). The new plant will consume polyester filament yarn (POY) for textured yarn, chips for POY, chips for FDY, finish oil and anti static oil. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 2412 million.
