Diamond Textile Mills Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1978 by Mr. Narendrabhai Patel, located at Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The factories are located at Narol and Changodar District of Gujarat. DTMPL has three directors namely, Mr. Narendrabhai Patel, Mr. Rajendrabhai Patel and Mr. Dhruv N Patel. It was initially engaged in job work and processing of grey cloth/fabric i.e. bleaching, drying and printing and had installed its first plant in 1981.

Subsequently, during the period of FY 11-13, the company had undergone a major CapEx whereby, they initiated backward integration into the business by setting up a production plant to manufacture yarn, grey cloths as well, apart from the processing of the grey fabric, which basically involves spinning, weaving and processing of cloth. It has a total installed production capacity of 1, 23,86,880 Meters P.A. for its weaving process and 45, 23,904 KGs P. A. for its spinning process, having 96 and 34272 of weaving looms and spindles, respectively. The raw material i.e. raw cotton is procured from suppliers based in Gujarat, being cotton and textile hub of the country and subsequently it caters to the textile related companies based majorly India/Pan India.
