Incorporated in March 1989, Nagreeka Exports Ltd (NEL) was promoted by late Mr. Ishwarlal Patwari. NEL is a part of Nagreeka group, which is engaged into trading and exporting activities for over four decades. NEL is involved in manufacturing and trading of textile products such as cotton yarn, knitted fabric, dyed and bleached cotton yarn etc. NEL is an export oriented trading company (62% of sales from products earned from trading in FY14 as opposed to 65% in FY13) with exports contributing around 79% of its total operating income from operations in FY14 (previous year 81%). As at March 31, 2014, NEL has an installed capacity of 55,440 spindles at its spinning plant located at Yavluj, Kolhapur, Maharashtra and 2793 MT of yarn dyeing and 7519 MT of cotton bleaching at its plant located at MIDC, Kagal, Kolhapur, Maharashtra.
