Sowmiya Spinners Pvt Ltd the flagship company of the Sowmiya Group, was incorporated in 2002 and promoted by Mr. K.M Chinnadurai and his family. SSPL is engaged in the manufacturing of cotton yarn and knitted fabrics. SSPLs plant with an installed capacity of 30,960 spindles is located at Annur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The Company manufactures cotton yarn with an average count of 40s. The manufacturing of knitted fabric is outsourced to knitting units located in close proximity of SSPLs spinning plant. The company also operates 6 wind energy generators with a total capacity of 5.6 MW for captive power consumption.
