Technical Textiles which forms diapers, feminine hygeine products are expected to grow in India. With rising wages and affordability these products are showing signs of growth but hampered by high price. This sector is dominated by international brands like Huggies, Pampers and SCA-Godrej. If the price could be brought under Rs.5/- we could see a huge demand. Manufacturing technical textiles means investment in high end machinery, know-how makes many reluctant to venture into this field.
