Vimal, the flagship brand for Reliance Industries has made a new product innovation in anti-microbial fabric. Textile products when treated with a chemical will arrest the growth of fungi and bacteria and keeping it fresh and anti-odour even after day long wear in warm climates. The Antimicrobial treatment named as “Deo2” had been an entirely innovation from Reliance in-house team at Naroda. Currently, its suiting textiles will be treated with Deo2 but in future, all of Reliance textile products will be treated. The company has applied for patent for the same.
