Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd. (Sutlej Textiles was incorporated on 2005 and was created out of a corporate restructuring exercise in which the Textiles Division of Sutlej Industries Ltd. (SIL) and DamanGanga Processors Ltd. The Group has its dominant presence in Fertilizer, Engineering, Textiles, Sugar, Tea, Coffee, Food, Products, media , information Technology , Biotechnology and Shipping.
Sutlej Textiles has versatile production facilities are vertically integrated, from spinning and weaving to dying and finishing to making apparel. The company had recently commissioned in December 2015 , an upgradation programme at Bhatauli Khurd textile mill in Himachal Pradesh.
In July 2018, the company is planning to set up a textile unit in Badanaguppe and Kallambahalli villages of Chamarajnagar district of Karnataka. The project cost is estimated at Rs. 7860 million.
