Nakoda Ltd is planning to invest Rs. 19350 million to set up a partially oriented yarn and fully drawn yarn greenfield plant in Surat in Gujarat. The plant will have a capacity of 2.80 lakh tpa and can produce the entire range of polyester yarns. The required capital is being raised from GDR’s and preferential issues. Around 50% of its produce will be supplied to Surat Super Yarns Ltd’s texturising unit – where Nakoda has 18% stake.
